I'm participating in memory of my cousin, NYS Trooper Scott P. Enser, who passed away on March 20, 2021, as a result of cancer stemming from his assignment to the World Trade Center site following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
Following the events of 9/11, Scott was assigned to aid with the search and recovery efforts in New York City as part of the New York State Police Detail. He entered the State Police on October 2, 1989, served with distinction and honor, and retired on October 6, 2009.
