🇺🇸 For The 4th Year, I'm Taking On the Tunnel to Towers 5K 🇺🇸
Every year, this event means more to me than I can put into words.
Like many of you, I remember exactly where I was when our nation was attacked on September 11, 2001. The events of that day changed our world forever. As someone who has dedicated much of my life to public service, emergency response, and helping others, this walk is my personal way of honoring the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, military members, and innocent lives that were lost.
For those who know me, you know this isn't easy.
Living with a spinal cord injury means every year this walk becomes a challenge. Some years are harder than others, and I have even more medical testing ahead of me. Truthfully, my body could probably use a break.
But this is one thing I refuse to quit.
Throughout the year, many people ask how they can thank me for the work I do with Erie County Blotter, animal rescue, outreach efforts, and helping our community.
This is it.
I'm not asking for gas money. I'm not asking for drone equipment. I'm not asking for dog food, cat food, or outreach supplies.
I'm asking you to help me support a cause that is bigger than all of us.
Please consider making a donation to my Tunnel to Towers fundraiser. Better yet, register and join my team! Walk beside me, walk ahead of me, or walk at your own pace. Trust me, nobody will be slower than me! 😆
Let's show Western New York what happens when a community comes together to support those who have always answered the call when others needed help most.
It's an incredible family event with emergency vehicles on display, activities for the kids, opportunities to meet first responders, and a chance to honor true American heroes.
If you've ever wanted to say "thank you" for the work we do, this is the favor I'm asking.
Please donate. Please share. Please join me.
Let's make Year 4 the biggest one yet.
